Xiberlinc Selected for METI’s “Global South IT / AI Engineer Internship Program”

Xiberlinc Inc. is pleased to announce its selection for the Global South IT / AI Engineer Internship Program, administered by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). Under this initiative, Xiberlinc will host outstanding students from the Global South region (emerging and developing countries) as interns, advancing international collaboration in AI and IT research and talent development.

About the Program

The Global South IT / AI Engineer Internship Program provides practical internship opportunities in Japan for students from the Global South who are studying IT and AI. Through this initiative, METI and JETRO aim to strengthen digital transformation (DX) and enhance global competitiveness among Japanese companies by connecting them with promising international talent. The program also offers comprehensive support for visa arrangements and travel logistics to facilitate smooth participation.

Our Initiative at Xiberlinc

At Xiberlinc, we have prepared hands-on development projects in areas such as AI algorithm design, IT engineering, and data-driven research, enabling interns to gain direct experience in real-world innovation. Through technical mentoring, research collaboration, and presentation sessions, interns can enhance both their technical expertise and global teamwork skills. This selection marks another step in our ongoing commitment to expanding our international vision and fostering a truly global research environment.

We aim to continue nurturing the next generation of innovators who can contribute to solving global challenges through the integration of neuroscience, AI, and technology.
