in this new paper published in Neuropsychopharmacology Reports, a collaborative team of clinicians and psychologists led by Xiberlinc's Maro Machizawa report a putative role of interoceptive ability on the severity of behavioural and substance-based addiction.
Behavioural addition may suffer from a severe lack of interoceptive awareness.
